Anmitsu is a traditional Japanese sweet. It's vegan and gluten free, and you can add icecream or whipped cream to make an anmitsu parfait. It's a labor intensive dessert to make, because we made all the ingredients from scratch!

Keep refrigerated!

About Shiratama Mochi, it gets tough after refrigerating for several hours. So if that happens please reheat in microwave for 15 -30 seconds to get the texture back. 

 

  • Kanten cubes - kanten is made from agar. It's super-rich in dietary fiber. Ideal for your gut health!
  • Japanese Red Pea - from Hokkaido. Simmered and slightly salted. 
  • Koshian - pulp-free azuki bean paste. Low sugar.
  • Kuro mitsu - Syrump made with black sugar from Okinawa
  • Apricot compote - rehydrated and simmered in syrup
  • Shiratama Mochi - made with premium rice flour
  • Fresh fruit - Assorted fruit. This week - stwarberry and pineapple

Ingredients:

kanten, Okinawan black sugar, red pea, apricot, strawberry, pineapple, azuki beans
